On Sunday some people from our school took part in St Abbans’ AC school athletics competition. They all did very well and represented the school brilliantly.
Well done to Mark, Richard, Lucy, Ellen, Saoirse, Mark, Oisín, Énnae, Neil, Rebecca and Gillian for taking part and a big congratulations to all those who won medals!!
2 teams from 5th and 6th class took part in a table quiz on Friday evening. The teams did really well coming 1st and 3rd. Well done to everyone who took part.
On Friday Alison Miller called to the school to show us the Grand Slam trophy that she won as part of the Ireland Women’s Rugby Team. Alison spoke to us about all the hard work that was involved and how this was the first time they had won the Grand Slam. Alison also told us about playing Rugby 7’s and some of the countries that she has visited playing rugby.
